Jean Luc Picard x Beverly Crusher from Star Trek: The Next Generation (TV/MOVIES) are my otp!

Thomas and I went on a date last night. He took me out to a movie and dinner afterward. He must really love me, cos the movie we saw was The Twilight Saga: New Moon. I had mentioned maybe seeing it on Friday, but with one thing and another it didn't happen. When he said he wanted to go to a movie last night, I was thinking The Blind Side, but he chose this. He didn't much care for the first movie when we watched it at home, and he really didn't like New Moon. The story line doesn't appeal to him at all and Kristen Stewart's attempt at acting made him cringe. I told him it would only get worse in the next two and he said, "Two?! Honey, I love you, but I think I'm done." *snerk*

We had dinner at the Irish Pub next to the theater. It was yummy. I brought home Guinness Chocolate Chip Ice Cream. We stopped by Wal-Mart before going home and I got some new knee socks. One pair is black and red stripes and have dangle-y pom-poms at the top. Thomas asked my why I needed socks with dangle-y pom-poms and I told him it was for teasing the cat. He accepted my answer. *g* The other pair is multi-coloured argyle. Me likey.

My first attempt at cooking a full Turkey Dinner was a resounding success. Woo Hoo! The turkey was tender and juicy, the potatoes were perfectly cheesy, and the stuffing was full of flavour. I have pics and recipes. :)
